The restaurant is located in a dramatic, freestanding building with an outstanding waterfront location at the point of Shoreline Village in Long Beach. Reminiscent of yesteryear, the elegant white walls of Parkers' Lighthouse are adorned with black and white photos, offering an in depth view of the history of Shoreline Village. HISTORIC QUEEN MARY BEHIND THE SCENES TOUR Wednesday, Oct 26 We will visit the legendary Queen Mary, a masterpiece of understated British elegance, charm and grace. Conceived in 1926 by a cadre of Cunard's expert shipbuilders, the Queen Mary was destined to become the most luxurious ocean liner ever built – "The First Lady of the Sea." Onboard the Queen Mary, you will be guided on the famous Behind the Scenes Tour. You will be taken on a sixty-minute guided behind the scenes tour, going through parts of the ship that are not accessible to the public. You will learn about the ship's history from glorious ocean liner, to troop trans- port ship, to her retirement in Long Beach Harbor. Afterwards guests will have free time to go back and check out points of interest or just enjoy the ocean air from the deck. This tour is followed by free time to explore the shops and take in the surrounding seaside areas.
