Ferré will build from the basic concepts of decision science to present concepts and recent developments in optimal design of hydrogeologic monitoring networks. He will also discuss how hydrogeologic models can be used for decision support under uncertainty. Finally, he will show that focusing hydrologic analysis on the specific, practical problems of interest can guide optimal measurement selection, advance hydrologic science, and improve the integration of science into economic and policy decisions. 2016 William A. McEllhiney Distinguished Lecture Series in Water Well Technology Farewell Presentation Wednesday, December 7 3:30–5 p.m. 101/102 No two water supplies are identi- cal, and to ensure a potable water supply that is safe, a thorough water analysis is the first place to start. Gain insight on water analysis from Peter S. Cartwright, PE, as he gives his presentation titled "Groundwater Contaminants and Treatment Technologies." The presentation identifies the classes of treatment technologies and details the specific technology choices as a function of contaminant reduction efficacy and cost. Installation require- ments are also addressed, as well as operation and maintenance. Delegates Meeting and Reception Wednesday, December 7 5:15–6:30 p.m. 109-114 Listen to this year's board candidates and discussion on NGWA Code of Reg- ulations proposed amendments, and, if you've been chosen as a delegate, make certain your vote gets counted.
