International's predictive cruise control uses prein- stalled GPS maps and the latest commercial route data to make adjustments to cruis- ing speed. The system looks ahead of the vehicle and con- tinuously calculates the most efficient speed and gear for optimal fuel economy. The LT Series will be offered in multiple configu- rations, including day cab, 56-inch low-roof sleeper, 56-inch high-rise sleeper, 73-inch high-rise sleeper and 73-inch sky-rise sleeper. Sass says deliveries are expected to begin in late November. Production of ProStar trucks equipped with a Cummins engine will end in December in North America, while ProStars equipped with an N-Series engine will end in April.
