Sowa - McPartland Call Me Maybe? I and handsome man knowing that something special was there. And in the city that never sleeps, the couple fell in love and became engaged along the romantic Via Veneto in Rome, Italy. T ALL BEGAN AT A BIRTHDAY PARTY WHEN A BLUSHING young New York medical resident gave her telephone number to a tall, dark Dr. Alexandra Sowa married Peter McPartland, Jr, a '99 EHS grad and current television producer on Food Network, Cooking Channel, A&E and MTV, in Greenville Delaware at St. Joseph's on the Brandywine Catholic Church. After the ceremony, a reception was held at the Greenville Country Club. The couple danced the night away beginning with "Wouldn't It Be Nice" a song made famous by the Beach Boys. Guests of the bride and groom stayed at the legendary Hotel DuPont in Wilmington, Delaware. Peter is the son of Laura and Peter McPartland, Sr., Sentry Insurance President and CEO, Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The bride is an Internal Medicine Resident at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York City. She is the daughter of Karen and Dr. David Sowa of Centreville, Delaware. 2 BRAVA Magazine September 2012 Their wedding weekend began with a private dinner hosted by the groom's parents at the Delaware Art Museum, which is best known for its large collection of British Pre-Raphaelite art.
