This year, to celebrate our 20th anniversary, NSSGA is opening this exciting event up to everyone who wishes to attend. Specialized training, networking, and community service projects are just a few of the elements that enable attendees to develop the tools to be successful in business and in life.
During the operations segment, attendees will tour the Bahama Rock Ltd. (BRL) quarry, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Martin Marietta Materials Inc. The BRL quarry is the largest aggregate/chemical stone producer in the Caribbean with a production capacity of 7,000,000 tons per year. BRL operates a 24-yard bucket and 77-yard bucket drag-lines that are capable of excavating 4,000 tons per hour.
Participants will sit in on a panel discussion featuring industry leaders Doug Black of Oldcastle Materials, Inc.; Dana Davis of Teichert Aggregates; and Ward Nye of Martin Marietta Materials.
