When The 2018 NCSF Member Assembly will take place July 26 – 28, 2018. Where The 2018 NCSF Member Assembly will take place at the Eaglewood Resort and Spa in Itasca, Illinois. Who Will attend Each court will designate one active beneficial court member over the age of 21, that has been a member of NCSF for two or more years, to attend the Member Assembly. A beneficial member is an adult that has an active life insurance policy or annuity issued by the Society. They remain a beneficial member for as long as the certificate is in force. There are open available spaces for additional beneficial members, who were not assigned by their court, to attend. These attendees will be chosen through an essay contest. the essay contest It is the intent of the Society to allow beneficial members who may not be assigned to a court to have an opportunity to attend. Also, there may be court beneficial members that were not chosen by their court, but have a fervent desire to attend. Therefore, those beneficial members may also have an opportunity to participate in the Member Assembly by competing in an essay contest. Since there is limited space available, those who have written the best essays about their interest in contributing to the future of NCSF will be chosen to attend the Member Assembly. We encourage younger members to attend to learn how to help our Society move forward into the future. Please note the qualities of a Member Assembly Participant. Qualities of a Member assembly participant Great leadership is essential to the success of the Society. Therefore, we are searching for active beneficial members over the age of 21, that have been members of NCSF for two or more years, to attend the 2018 Member Assembly. The members also need to exhibit most of the leadership qualities listed below. Describe how you exhibit these qualities in an essay and how you can help our Society evolve into the future. The Member Assembly will examine how best to reenergize courts, how to form new courts and the new strategic direction of the Society. The chosen beneficial members need to understand the mission, vision, and purpose of the Society.
