Literacy Run/Walk Board President J. Michael True was among the runners. October 14 | Downtown Madison Heavy rain didn't dampen the spirits of runners at The Literacy Network's 21st annual 5k and 10k run/walk. Volunteers were on hand alongside the many racers who came to splash their soggy sneakers through downtown streets in an effort to raise funds to support The Literacy Network and their aim of improving the literacy skills of those who need it. The event kicked off with a Kids' Fun Run.
