NAFCA to continue Arlington National Cemetery fence upgrade project Members of the North Ameri- can Fence Contractors Association (NAFCA) will again be donating time and materials this year for the 8th annual Arlington National Cemetery Project. "Last year we completed a four year project beautifying the area around the visitor's center and parking areas, where approximately 13,000-15,000 visitors pass by each day," said Scott B. Ruete, NFACA president. "It looks amazing. This year we will be working up inside of the Cemetery at the director's residence installing approximately 300 lineal feet of 6' high black vi- nyl coated 8 gauge chain link on all black framework as a deer preven- tion fence," he said. The project will take place on Friday, Oct. 25, 2019 beginning at 8 a.m. and finishing around 2 p.m. Details may found on ww- w.4nafca.com, the NAFCA Face- book page or via scottruete@gmail. com. "We have had folks bring their high school age children to assist with the installation and then tour the Cemetery, Iwo Jima Memorial, Pentagon Memorial and many other local historic sites," Ruete added. Make room reservations at Best Western Pentagon Hotel, Reagan Airport, 2480 S.
