Ruth's Chris
Goes Tableside
with New
Julep Offerings
Building on its vintage-inspired
cocktails menu launched last
year, Ruth's Chris Steak House
has unveiled a new signature
drinks lineup for 2013 that
includes tableside Julep service.
The two styles of Juleps offered
are a classic recipe featuring
Bulleit Bourbon, and a sparkling
pear variation with Absolut
Citron and Hangar One Spiced
Pear vodkas and Piper Sonoma
sparkling wine. Servers prepare
the cocktails tableside over
crushed ice and muddled mint
leaves in a traditional Julep cup.
Ruth's Chris Steak House,
which operates more than 130
upscale restaurants nationwide,
has also added several specialty
cocktails inspired by classic
recipes. These include the
Blackberry Sidecar, made with
Rémy Martin VSOP Cognac,
Cointreau, Fee Brothers Plum
bitters and muddled blackberries
and the Port of Manhattan,
featuring Maker's Mark Bourbon,
Fonseca Bin No. 27 Port and
Angostura bitters.
