World Fence News – Your No. 1 Source of Fencing Information for Over 35 Years! The Texas Fence Association (TFA) returned to the historic Menger Hotel in San Antonio for its 2019 "To- tally 80s" Holiday Party Dec. 6-7. The hotel was built in 1859, not long after the final battle of the Texas Revolution, and is saturated with Tex- as history. It is located near the Ala- mo, a Texas landmark. Texas Fence Association folks party like it's 1859 If you could not be there, here are some snapshots from the event. Many more events are coming up so check www.texasfenceassociation.org for updates. TFA is a chapter of the American Fence Association and is comprised of 158 manufacturers, distributors and contractors in the fence industry. Someone commented, "Jeff, I don't think you are allowed to take it apart...." Two of the youngest TFA members boogie the night away with Lisa Coo- per and Amy Alsip at the TFA's Totally 80's holiday party at the Menger Hotel in San Antonio Dec. 6–7. Above right, counterclockwise, Sean Cooper presented special service awards to David Gregg and Jamie Tur- rentine (not pictured), both past TFA and AFA presidents, for their dedica- tion to the industry. Plaques of appre- ciation were presented to TFA officers Jesus Nieto (incoming TFA president) and Steve Alsip (treasurer).
