HISTORY Enjoy a past preserved in Medora. Chateau de Mores Visitors to the Chateau de Mores are welcomed into the 1880s style 26-room Chateau that was once home to the Marquis and his wife, Medora. The home features many original furnishings and the building has been refurbished to its original stateliness. Learn about the life and times of the Marquis and Medora on the guided tour. You can also visit the recently constructed Chateau de Mores Interpretive Center and explore the exhibits. Children visit for free every Wednesday! Saturdays and Sundays feature "History Alive," a free presentation on the porch of the Chateau at 10:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm MDT.
