The renovation has also linked the Museum more closely with Forest Park, thanks to a design by French landscape architect Michel Desvigne. The East Building's inaugural exhibition will be drawn from the museum's permanent collection, considered one of the country's premier encyclopedic art museums. slam.org Louis Vuitton is no stranger to artistic collaborations. Its latest endeavor is "Travel Books," a series that explores a destination through the eyes of a contemporary artist. The series' first installment features Congolese artist Chéri Samba on Paris, French fashion illustrator Jean-Philippe Delhomme on New York, the young Japanese illustrator Natsko Seki on London and the American Daniel Arsham on Easter Island, seen here. For each new title, a numbered and signed limited edition will be available in select Louis Vuitton stores. louisvuitton.com 13 Easter Island Surfer, by Daniel Arsham 40 CULTURED
