The Amsoil kit came with a fitting
and Loctite thread sealant, which I
applied to the fitting before installing
it into the oil filter housing.

Assembling the oil return
fittings on the oil cap is easier
while it is off the engine.

I attached the spin-on filter mount
assembly to the 100percentsynthetic.
com engine mount prior to attaching
both to the engine pedestal.

We had to track down some additional
bolts for the mount; however, it fit
perfectly with the existing holes on
the engine.

I pre-filled
the Amsoil
filter before
installing it.
I routed each line to determine
line lengths before cutting - one
from the stock filter housing to the
Amsoil filter housing and another
from there to the oil fill cap.
After spinning the hose counter
clock wise into the compression
fitting, I used a vice to (there was
an extra space here)assemble each
fitting.
