With the Korn Ferry Tour awarding 30
PGA TOUR cards at the end of the year,
the NV5 Invitational presented by Old
National Bank comes in the middle of a
critical closing stretch. Only six events will
be held between the NV5 Invitational and
the Korn Ferry Tour Championship, adding
to the drama as players fight for position.
Recent history suggests that many
of the players walking The Glen
Club fairways in July will be making
headlines on the PGA TOUR soon.
Trace Crowe, who held off Patrick Fishburn
in a thrilling playoff to win the 2023 event,
will be playing on the PGA TOUR in 2024
after securing his TOUR card at the Final
Stage of PGA TOUR Q-School. Three
other past champions are also playing on
the PGA TOUR, including 2019 winner
Scottie Scheffler, the 2022 Masters winner
and No. 1-ranked player in the world.
Cameron Young, the 2021 winner, also
used his victory as a springboard to
PGA TOUR stardom. Scheffler, Young
and Crowe will be joined on TOUR
by 2022 champion Harry Hall.
"After another dramatic finish in 2023,
we're excited about what the future holds
for this championship," said Dickerson
Wright, PE, Chairman and CEO of NV5.
"We're proud to provide a stage for these
talented players to pursue their dreams
while helping the Evans Scholars Foundation
make a difference in the lives of young
men and women across the country."
All proceeds from the championship benefit
the Evans Scholars Foundation and its
mission to award full tuition and housing
college scholarships to high-achieving youth
caddies with limited financial means.
