PUBLISHER'S WELCOME
Welcome to an exciting new 2024 golf season, and our
22nd Issue of GOLF NOW! Chicago, Chicagoland's Premier Golf
Destination Guide.
Golf's rising stars are coming back to Chicago's North Shore this
summer, and the stakes will be higher than ever. The
NV5 Invitational presented by Old National Bank will return
to The Glen Club on July 22-28, bringing the action of the
Korn Ferry Tour back to Glenview, Illinois. The championship will
arrive squarely in the middle of Chicago's golf season as the
race to earn a coveted promotion to the PGA TOUR heats up. All
proceeds from the championship benefit the Evans Scholars
Foundation and its mission to award full tuition and housing
college scholarships to high-achieving youth caddies with limited
financial means. For ticket, hospitality and volunteer information,
visit www.nv5invitational.com.
Stay, play and watch the best tee it up! As announced in 2023,
the Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by United
Leasing & Finance has relocated in 2024 for the next five
years to French Lick Resort, home to two championship golf
courses – The Pete Dye Course and The Donald Ross Course.
The Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by United Leasing
& Finance will be contested on The Pete Dye Course at French
Lick on October 3–6, best known for hosting the 2015 Senior
PGA Championship. For more information on the 2024 Korn Ferry
Tour season, please visit PGATOUR.com.
Do you like to compete and have fun? The Weekly Challenge
Golf Tour is a very popular Chicagoland golf tour for all golfers
with great golf courses, payouts, camaraderie, and tons of fun!
Players of all ages and skill levels compete against each other
based on net scores with a handicap system that is designed to
prevent sandbagging. WCGT plays tournaments on some of the
top public courses and private country clubs in the Chicagoland
area. For more information and a list of the 2024 golf
tournaments visit wcgt.golfclub.net.
