Urban Forest
Inventory
and Analysis
Application
Through its ongoing
Urban Forest Inventory
and Analysis, the U.S.
Forest Service continues
to collect data on estab-
lished permanent plots
across the country,
including collaborative
work with state forestry
agencies and city leaders. The status of urban forest data col-
lection, landowner surveys, and wood flows can be found on
the website. An application developed by the Texas Forest
Service, called
My City's Trees, currently hosts the com-
plete certified datasets for 15 cities including calculated
benefits generated by i-Tree Eco and associated tools.
