As the business grew and the demand for advanced golf instruction increased,
Mat and his wife, Tia—who manages the studio's administrative operations—
began searching for a larger space. After more than a year, they found a
suitable building that could accommodate their expanding clientele and offerings.
The transition involved securing building permits, overseeing renovations,
and moving equipment from the previous location to the new facility.
Since opening the new location in December 2025, Mat Blair's Golf Studio has seen
remarkable growth. The number of golfers booking lessons, joining leagues, enrolling
children in junior golf programs, and utilizing the cutting-edge indoor simulators has
more than doubled in just a few months. The facility features advanced technology
such as Trackman radar, SAM PuttLab, and premium golf equipment to enhance the
training experience.
Mat Blair is widely recognized as one of Indiana's top golf instructors. Golf Digest
surveys leading instructors across the country every two years to identify the best
teachers in each state. Following the latest Golf Digest survey for 2026-2027,
Mat Blair was again ranked No. 3 in Indiana, a distinction determined by votes from
thousands of instructors nationwide.
