AVERITT HONORED FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION Logistics Management magazine recognized the Cookeville, Tenn.- based Averitt Express with two 2010 Quest for Quality awards. The awards are based on input from satisfaction surveys from 5,426 respondents. The surveys asked for input in areas of timely perfor- mance, customer service, informa- tion technology and equipment and operations. SCHNEIDER IS TOP-PAYING CARRIER The National Transportation Insti- tute has named Schneider National as one of its Top Pay Carriers. The survey benchmarks driver pay pack- ages and evaluates carriers on driver pay, health and retirement benefits and financial stability. The results of the survey were ranked, and the top 20 percent were recognized. ROEHL TRAINING CENTER GRADUATES TWO DRIVERS IN AUGUST Roehl Transport’s Driver Training Center saw two new graduates in October. Steven Ross of Platts- mouth, Neb., and Sakol Hollowell of Tampa, Fla., both completed the center’s coursework in mid-October. Roehl’s Training Center teaches beginners to drive protectively — anticipating, recognizing and adjusting to mistakes others make on the road. The drivers received awards at a celebration dinner for Prime employees, where each driver was given a $5,000 check, a 3 million mile leather jacket, a truck decal and a plaque.
