Justin Freedman is a Senior Environmental Scientist for Metric Engineering in Miami, Florida, where he provides consulting services for both the public and private sector. He received a BA in biology from Tufts University and an MS from Nova Southeastern University.
Delia B. Juncal is the City of Oceanside, California Landscape Development Coordinator. She is a Certified Urban Forester and Certified Arborist and is responsible for the implementation of ordinances and regulations pertaining to trees in new developments and biologically sensitive areas. She is an executive committee mem- ber of the San Diego Regional Urban Forests Council.
Bill Haws is the Forestry Administrator for the City of Savannah Park & Tree Department and has practiced urban forestry in beautiful and historic Savannah, Georgia since 1994.
Dr. Kathleen Wolf is a research social scientist at the University of Washington, College of the Environment, and has carried out a 15-year research program on the human dimensions of urban forestry and urban greening. Highlights of the science projects are at www.naturewithin.info.
City Trees is the journal of the Society of Municipal Arborists, and is published bimonthly. The SMA is a Professional Affiliate of the ISA.
