Restaurant 5539 W. State Street (414) 453-2410 Milwaukee’s Favorite Celebrating 35 Years! Award Winning BBQ Baby Back Ribs BBQ Sauces BBQ Pork & Chicken Sandwiches, Soups & Salads Blocks from MillerCoors Brewery Shuttle to Major Sporting Events Steve Sazama, who made his name at Saz’s State House with signature BBQ baby back ribs, still greets restaurant patrons, but now his organization extends to fine dining at Milwaukee’s Performing Arts Center and Summerfest. Tundra Tailgate Zone, a tented sports bar and food facility outside the home of the Green Bay Packers. • And last year, in the season that brought Green Bay another Super Bowl victory, Saz’s became the “Official BBQ Partner” of the Packers. Saz’s signa- ture products are now provided in Lambeau Field suites and concessions stands. In addition, the designation allows Saz’s to put the Green Bay Packers catering partner emblem on bottles of its sauces, a definite marketing plus. Two other developments last year showed the growing diversity of Saz’s operation. At Summerfest, Saz’s was chosen to open Sazama’s Lakeside Grill, featuring upscale menu creations, wine by the glass and bottle and sit-down service at covered tables. Also last year, another new division was launched as Saz’s became the exclusive food and beverage service for performances, banquets, outdoor events and galas at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Milwaukee. The service known as Sazama’s Fine Catering plans to offer public Mother’s Day and Easter Brunches in the center’s ballroom this year. But despite the dramatic expansion in the first 35 years, some things never change at Saz’s State House. The service is exceptional, the BBQ ribs (and veggie items too these days) are delicious and the trains continue to rumble by. Visit for lunch or din- ner and say hello to Saz! www.sazs.com Saz’s State House is open from 11:15 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday; 11:15 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. (Brunch) and 3-8 p.m. Sun.
