"It's easy and convenient for us since we are
gone Monday through Friday," explains Michelle,
who lives in Ava. For an eVisit, Michelle logs into
her CoxHealth Express account and fills out a
questionnaire. "You are able to write notes and a
description of your symptoms," she explains.
Her primary care physician, Christine Gentry, DO,
of CoxHealth Center Ava, is then notified by email.
Dr. Gentry makes a decision about whether a
patient can be treated through an eVisit or needs
to come in to the clinic to be seen in person. If Michelle's request for an
eVisit is approved, she receives a message from Dr. Gentry and they begin
communicating via email.
"Dr. Gentry is the best. She is very fast about getting back to us. If I have any other questions or
anything like that, I can ask," says Michelle.
