It is situated right in the middle of the 5th largest city in the world. The Institute's 1,500 coffee plants occupy a 110,000 sq. ft. area which is the largest urban coffee plantation in the world. The institute is open to the public but call ahead to reserve a place on the regularly scheduled guided tours.
