Product Round-up Spreaders and Sprayers Bobcat sprayer Bobcat's sprayer is manufactured to fit the Toolcat utility work machine and Bobcat utility vehicles. The sprayers are designed for chemical applications ranging from spot spraying for weed control to broadcast spraying of liq- uid fertilizer and chemicals. All sprayer tank components are mounted to a formed-steel skid frame, which is fas- tened to the bed of the machines by drilling holes in the tailgate and securing with bolts. Sprayer flow is controlled by a pump on/off switch conveniently mounted in the console of the Toolcat machine, or within easy reach on front of the skid for utility vehicles. The spring-loaded boom wings break away horizontally (fore and aft) and vertically to help protect the boom on rough terrain or in case an obstacle is struck. This also allows the boom wings to be manually folded when not in use. The 4-nozzle boom on the 50-gallon sprayer unfolds to a 10- foot width to quickly cover large areas. A 75-gallon model with a 21-foot boom is available for the Toolcat 5600. Cub Cadet Commercial TANK S Series Cub Cadet Commercial's TANK S Series family of riders works faster, smarter and better than you ever thought possible. Four-wheel steering and steering wheel control provide stability on hillsides, easier operation on the toughest terrain and everywhere else. And you can choose between gas, diesel or liquid propane engines, so you get more of what you really want — control. And whether you're working through the heat of summer or the dead of winter, Cub Cadet Commercial's attachments — such as the spreader attachment (pictured here) — are made to boost your earning potential the whole year through. So you can maximize your profits while getting the best results possible. Echo manual backpack sprayer Echo's new MS-40BP backpack sprayer, with 4-gallon capacity, covers more ground with commercial-duty power and lasting performance in an easy-to-carry sprayer unit. A 90-psi large-diameter piston pump allows for quick pressure and less pumping. All critical seals are made of chemically resistant Viton material, allowing for ex- tended use of harsh chemicals and durability. A 4-stage filter extends the life of the sprayer and UV inhibitors allow protection from sun exposure. The unit comes with 3 nozzles: a brass adjustable, a fixed fan, and a fixed cone. The tank is marked in both gallons and liters with true capacities allowing room for chemicals. It requires no tools to assemble and the ergonomic pump handle can be used either left or right handed. It also carries a 2- year commercial warranty. Grasshopper Shielded Sprayer Apply pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers more effectively and efficiently with the Grasshopper Shielded Sprayer. The patented design contains the spray pattern for on-target application, even in windy conditions. And the independent suspension and dolly wheels follow ground contours for precise and even spray application. Each spray chamber features 4 spray nozzles, which provide uniform coverage by applying finer spray droplets that coat vegetation instead of dousing it. Combined with True ZeroTurn maneuverability to avoid wasted motion, the result is up to 5.5 acres per tank with fewer chemicals, faster application times and faster drying times, while keeping chemicals away from the operator and non-target areas. Gravely Stadium 80 Sprayer The versatile Gravely Stadium 80 Sprayer includes an 80-gallon, low-profile tank that fits in the back of a utility vehicle to provide 360-degree visibility. Equipped with a spray gun; 25-foot hose; and a low-maintenance, 10- foot, 3-way folding boom with electric on and off controls, the Stadium 80 sprayer is simple to operate. The lock- able tank lid and anti-siphon fill prevents chemical spills, while the compact design and low center of gravity gives added stability. Operators can enjoy hours of spraying before refilling with the 80-gallon tank. Additional options include a 4-hp. Honda GX engine with a pull start and a Hydro 12-volt engine with electric start. Hannay Reels E1500 Series The compact, lightweight design of the Hannay Reels E1500 Series is specifically engineered for long lengths of hose used in applications such as lawn care, spraying and fertilizing, pressure washing, pest control, and water- ing and irrigation. Hannay Reels are constructed with materials and finish that can withstand abuse from corro- sive fertilizers, pesticides, and other hazardous substances. Available in both manual and power rewind, they can be truck-, trailer-, or garage-mounted on wheels or carried by hand. The E1500 is equipped to handle 1/4- to 5/8- inch ID hose and features an electric powered chain and sprocket drive. It can operate at pressures to 3,000 psi and perform at temperatures from 20 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. 26 Landscape and Irrigation March 2012 www.landscapeirrigation.com
