eDcAiOn Automated Gate Systems Designer Training (AGSD) Day 1: Tuesday, January 12 Day 2: Wednesday, January 13 8:00am – 5:00pm 8:00am – 5:00pm Presenters: AFA Certified Automated Gate Systems Designer School Instructors Member: Early Bird (before Jan. 12) - $200; On-site - $325 Non-member: Early Bird (before Jan. 12) - $400; On-site - $600 This two-day course covers essential subjects needed to properly design an automated gate operator system. This course starts with the various types of gates and gate operators, and how they may apply to different applications. The course also will review how to design a system to comply with applicable codes and standards, including ASTM F2200 and UL 325. Students will learn how to develop a site plan showing equipment locations, how to select the proper accessories and controls for the system and the many different forms of access control available. Two days of training is the equivalent of years of experience. This is an ideal course for anyone selling or designing automated gate systems. The course covers: 1.
