This course starts with the various types of gates and gate operators, and how they may apply to different applications. The course also will review how to design a system to comply with applicable codes and standards, including ASTM F2200 and UL 325. Students will learn how to develop a site plan showing equipment locations, how to select the proper accessories and controls for the system and the many different forms of access control available.
