Products & Services 40 | Boating Industry | February 2016 FLIR OCEAN SCOUT 640 The Ocean Scout 640 is a thermal handheld marine camera that provides a thermal resolution of 640x512. The camera reveals the heat of vessels, buoys, fl oating debris and persons in the water in total darkness at distances up to 1,200 yards away. The camera is ideal for cruisers to use for safe docking when blinded by sun glare, locating buoys, detecting debris or other vessels, and as a lifesaving tool for "man overboard" emergencies. fl FOUR WINNS TS222 The TS222 – a 22', 7" towboat – is equipped with the Volvo Penta Forward Drive. The bow features storage room for gear and Comfort Ride seats with Silvertex upholstery, and the walk-through transom leads to a large swim plat- form. Features a quick-fi ll ballast system, wake enhancement surf tabs, zero-off control and custom color-matched hinging wakeboard tower. Built with the patented Four Winns Stable Vee hull. SEA HAWK LOW VOC The Low VOC versions of the Sea Hawk Tuff Stuff Premium Blister Protection System offer a Low VOC alternative when applying water barrier or corrosion protection coatings to vessels. Effective for blister protection on fi berglass or as a bilge coating due to its resistance to oil and water, or as a universal primer. The products comply with VOC limits set by the California Air Quality Management Board. MASTERCRAFT X26 The X26 offers a roomy interior with a capacity of 18 and several entertainment-style amenities. The redesigned hull shape includes a draft height and dead rise that enables it to outmaneuver similar-sized boats. A 2,800-pound built-in rotocast ballast tank com- bines with the Gen 2 Surf System for ideal surf waves. Powered by a 6.2L Ilmor engine with a 7.4L upgrade available. TAYLOR MADE VIVID WINDSHIELDS Taylor Made Systems introduced the Vivid Series of lighted windshields for sport and tow boats. The windshields integrate ambient lighting systems, which are built into the frame using a patent-pending design, and produce a variety of different effects. Light- boxes can slate the light over a logo, and electro-luminescent panels provide uniform backlighting to areas large or small. Multiple colors of light available, sometimes in the same system.
