While our quick trip only allowed us to play two rounds of golf, if you are looking for a third impressive golf course to play, I would recommend Sultan's Run Golf Club. Stretching over 224 rolling acres of woods, water and wildlife, located roughly 24 miles from French Lick Resort in Jasper, Indiana, these rolling hills were once home to Supreme Sultan, a legend of his time. This horse sired a record number of World Champion American Saddlebred horses during his time on, what was then, Ruxer Farms. Golfers enjoy this storied history as they're met at each new tee box by a marker noting each of 18 of those World Champion American Saddlebred horses. We met with some of the staff members at Sultan's Run who were so friendly and offered us a chance to tour many of the holes in one of their golf carts. We will definitely be back to play! The initial entrance and immediate surroundings give you a small taste of the magnificent golf "feast" you will discover when you venture deep out onto the course. Secluded, lush wooded grounds, swift peaks and valleys, and ravine-riddled terrain, await you. Each golfer ends their round at the dramatic 18th green surrounded by a 15-foot waterfall.
