In this issue… Contributors Mike Galvin is the Director of the Consulting Group at SavATree, where he helps clients find solutions to issues around people + trees in cities. He has worked previously in the NGO (non-governmental organization) sector as Deputy Director at Casey Trees and as a municipal arborist as Supervisor of Urban & Community Forestry for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. Sarah Gracey has worked since 1997 with the Kentucky Division of Forestry and has served as the State Urban Forestry Coordinator since 1999. She received her B.S. in Forestry from the University of Tennessee in 1996 and is an ISA Certified Arborist and '09 MFI graduate. Henrik Sjöman, PhD, is a Lecturer at the Swedish University of Agricultural Science. Henrik's focus in teaching and research is plant use for urban environ- ments. In early 2012, Henrik presented his doctoral thesis with a focus on trees and a changing climate in Scandinavia. Jason Summers is the Manager of Parks and Open Space at Hume City Council in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He has a horticultural background and was a practicing climbing arborist for over ten years and also has completed a Master's degree in Forest Science by research at the University of Melbourne. Walt Warriner is the Community Forester for the City of Santa Monica and a mem- ber of the MFI Teaching Team.
