T rimac Transporta on, a large bulk carrier with offi ces in Houston, recently announced a new commercial driver's license tui on reimbursement program. According to a statement from- Trimac, the new program will pay qualifying students monthly until the tuition has been fully reimbursed or the employee is no longer with the company, up to a maximum of $5,000. To be eligible for this pro- gram, drivers must attend a Trimac- approved driving school. (The list of approved schools is on the com- pany's website.) "Professional CDL-A drivers are the backbone of the transportation industry and keep America moving," said Tonja Wilhelms, U.S. recruiting manager for Trimac. "With that in mind, we at Trimac want to invest in those individuals who want to pursue this career by assisting with out-of-pocket tuition costs incurred in making this rewarding career choice."
