They use their "Starcar" — a 2015 Western Star 4900 with a 120-inch ARI Legacy custom sleeper — to haul anything from military freight to plastic pipe and insulation via flatbed throughout the southern half of the country from California to South Carolina. The truck has a Detroit DD16 and an Eaton-Fuller transmission. The graphics were done by Wrapaholic of Springfield, Mo., and feature the couple's 6-year-old pug, Mr. Tubbs. Custom work includes headlight guards, half fenders and a headache box. Canadian road train Rick Tessier of Stony Plain, Alberta, Canada, uses his 2005 Western Star Lowmax to haul 32-by-28 "Super B" road trains throughout western Canada. The truck has a 550-hp Caterpillar C15, a 13-speed transmission and 3:70 rears. Tessier added 7-inch pipes, an all-chrome dash, a wooden steering wheel, swivel seats and two couches that turn into a double bed.
