$100,000 Challenge from Ingram Family (Hall) launched a new fund raising campaign in May to lower its bank loan from 1st The RV/MH Hall of Fame & Museum Source Bank by $200,000. The goal is to raise $100,000 in vol- untary contribu- tions by August 31, 2012. The Boots In- gram family has put up a $100,000 challenge grant for the purpose of low- ering the Hall's bank loan so each contribution RV/MH Hall of Fame Kicks Off Fund Raiser inspire everyone concerned about the long- range health of our wonderful facility to pitch in and help." A personal $25,000 donation from Marcus Lemonis, chairman of Camping World Inc. and Good Sam Enterprises LLC, helped kick off a new fundraising by friends of Hall is actually double the amount contributed—a $100 gift, in effect, becomes a $200 gift. Darryl Searer, president of the RV/MH Heritage Foundation, said, "The Ingrams con- tinue to show their support for the Hall, and their generosity in making this challenge should campaign . "After seeing the informa- tion on what the In- gram family did and the attempt to pay down the bank – and knowing that the Ingram donation was really a match, not a guarantee from what I understand – I made a contribution of $25,000 in the hope that other people will fill the gap and put this issue to rest," said Lemonis. Don Wallace, co-founder of Tampa's Lazy- days RV Super Center and 2008 inductee into the RV/MH Hall of Fame, has also donated $25,000 to help with the debt. Gifts may be made by mail, in person at the Hall, by phone at 800-378-8694, or on the Hall web site: www.rvmhhalloffame.org. Since the foundation is 501c non-profit organ- ization, all gifts are tax deductible. Searer said, "Time is limited since the In- gram challenge ends in August so I encourage anyone who can tomake their gift early. While we wouldn't turn away a large donation, in re- ality, no gift is too small because we would like to see industry members as well as those who enjoy the RV lifestyle participate in this fund raiser. We all benefit from the Hall which only not honors industry leaders, but also preserves our heritage and legacy through the Museum and Library.
