This attractive yet rugged 8 foot tall ornamental fence manufactured by Iron World of How- ard County, Maryland, was installed by Long Fence of Capitol Heights, Maryland. The radius curves in the fence sections shown in the pictures were specified by U.S. Navy architects, and manufactured to specification by Iron World. The Navy was concerned about the Navy Yard's unsecured waterfront along the Anacostia River, which this fence helps resolve. Photos courtesy of Iron World.
