Teaching at manager's meetings, tech nights, association training and tech schools are his passions. On the association front, he speaks at endless chapter meetings and even though he may be teaching similar products each time, he works to keep each presentation unique and entertaining. 3) Roth Industries, recipient of the Manufacturer of the Year Award, has been in the North American market since 1997. Roth manufactures and distributes a number of oil and energy products for the hydronic heating mar- ket, such as, PEX / PERT tubing, solar systems and oil storage tanks for residential fuel oil. Roth has been a member of the NAOSHM / OESP Organization for the past 18 years. During that period, Roth has been a very strong supporter of the "Oil Heat Cares" program. He is the current president of OESP's Mid Atlantic chapter and has run a tech night for techs throughout the state for the last six years. 5) Ralph Adams III, recipient of the Hugh W. McKee Memorial Award, got his start in the industry in 1969 as an oil burner mechanic helper. Today he is the service manager at Parker Fuel Company Inc., Ellicott City, Md. Adams also develops training programs. He has held numerous offices in NAHOSM/ OESP, Mid Atlantic Service Managers Association, Washington Metro Oil Heat Service Managers Association and has received numerous awards from those organizations. He will now be serving as OESP president. 6) Bob O'Rourke, recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award has been in the heat- ing business for over 45 years. He started out working for Edwards Platt and Deeley, a rep company, in the early1970s. By the late 1980s he had become a partner at EP&D. O'Rourke has held all positions in the Westchester chapter with the exception of treasurer, and he was chapter president for 6 years. He has been on the board of directors of OESP twice, and currently serves as vice president. O'Rourke provided training and endless equipment donations to mini tradeshows, VICA completions and also judged many local competitions sponsored by the Westchester chapter. He also helped rewrite the VICA program to allow for the proper use and installation of backflow preventers. He was instrumental in Westchester adopting Saunders Trade and Technical school in Yonkers, N.Y., long before it was a com- mon practice. 7) Jason Mangos of the Lehigh Valley Chapter accepts the Oil Heat Cares traveling cup from master of ceremonies Dan Holohan. 8) The 2016 OESP board swearing-in.
