DYE INJECTION KITS Technicians can now add the exact amount of fluorescent dye into AC&R systems — without wast- ing a drop of dye — by using two new EZ-Ject™ Dye Injection Kits from Spectronics Corporation. Each kit features the EZ-50 dye injector assembly, an A/C hose/ coupler with check valve and ¼" flare low-loss fitting, two EZ-Ject dye cartridges and a purge fitting.
The compact EZ-Ject dye injector is easy to use because it requires only one connection to add dye into an AC&R system. The dye cartridges are calibrated to provide precision dosing, so there are no messy spills or wasted dye. Each cartridge contains enough AR- GLO® fluorescent dye to treat two gallons (7.6 L) of lubricant, 25 pounds (11.3 kg) of refrigerant or 12 tons of cooling. AR-GLO fluorescent dye is extremely concentrated, super bright and free of co-solvents. It makes even the smallest refrigerant leak glow brightly when scanned with a high-intensity Spectroline® inspection lamp.
