When looking at spare and wear parts, it is obvious that circumstances in the industry have changed which, logically, has also had an impact on requirements and the spare and wear parts supply chain. One substantial change in the industry is the decline in demand for new manufacturing equipment and, related more specifically to our product program, a drop in the demand for new secondary equipment. What we are seeing is that the policy of cigarette manufacturers is to optimize their existing equipment in order to increase efficiency and reduce operating costs. Spare and wear parts is the core business of Spikker Specials and due to this focus we have been able to build up a stable and valued position in the tobacco industry since 1962!! Looking at how our business has developed positively, this year too, we can say that our program of spare and wear parts has the added value that the industry is looking for today – and in the years ahead. Our product program is, and has always been, developed for the end user to support their operations with the best possible quality and reliability, and to achieve a relative cost reduction as an overall result. Besides a wide range of so-called regular consumption parts, we also offer complete assemblies, format kits, upgrades, overhaul and repair. This product range is available for almost any cigarette maker, packer and filter maker/assembler. For us, being flexible and able to deliver with short lead times is a standard, but it has also become a major requirement of today's industry. The required lead times in projects such as format changes are significantly shorter than some years ago, and we have proven our ability to deliver quickly with good service regarding response times and information provision. We believe that a key factor is fully controlling all processes to ensure the highest quality and reliability, which is what Spikker stands for. Our organization is ready to supply customers worldwide and we are a real manufacturer with a production facility only in the Netherlands; so every wear and spare part is manufactured by Spikker Specials, this is the way we control our quality !! This is a different approach compared to suppliers that rely on subcontractors or only operate as a dealer. They often look at spare parts as a business only instead of being a real partner for their customers. Focus on Improvement – Your experienced partner for Spare and Wear Parts –
