Wayne developed Helix as the result of extensive research working closely with customers, retailers and users from around the world. n Gulf Oil returns to Dallas as it continues expansion in Texas Just weeks after announcing its return to Houston, and close on the heels of its return to Austin, Gulf Oil announced that it is back in Dallas through its part- nership with Fuel City, one of the Lone Star State's best known gas stations. Gulf's new agreement with Fuel City, located at 801 South Riverfront Boulevard in Dallas, puts the Gulf brand front and center at one of the most rec- ognized travel centers in the state. Fuel City, in addition to being a gas station, has been named "Best Example of Texas in a Nutshell" by The Dallas Observer, cited for having "The Best Tacos" in Texas by Texas Monthly, and designated as a "Favorite Point of Interest" by for- mer Dallas Mayor Laura Miller. Gulf Oil pioneered the concept of The Helix dispenser line by Wayne is a global platform on which all future Wayne dispenser models will be based. Three Helix fuel-dispenser models, designed to fulfill a wide variety of forecourt needs, are available at launch: the Helix 2000™, the Helix 4000™ and the Helix 5000™. Wayne will introduce the C-style Helix model, Helix 6000™, in 2013. Wayne and IDEO, the renowned global design and innovation consul- tancy, worked together to conduct global market research and created Helix with insights from our custom- ers, motorists and service companies. This optional feature for the iX Pay™ Secure Payment solution is the first modular, in-dispenser device of its kind to support traditional mag- stripe contactless, EMV® contactless and NFC mobile payment programs.
