128 culturedmag.com COURTESY RUBELL FAMILY COLLECTION Family Ties The Rubell Family Collection continues to be an unmissable stop on the Art Basel Miami Beach gauntlet. This year, the private museum focuses its energy on two shows—one featuring Brazilian artists such as Sonia Gomes and Erika Verzutti, and the other dedicated to new acquisitions including Anne Imhof and Bunny Rogers. The latter will consume the museum's second floor with works surrounding the idea of stress, from the sociopolitical to the personal. RFC.MUSEUM AI AI Artist Trevor Paglen's conceptual work often deals with ethics as it relates to technology, and this winter he will become the first artist-in-residence at The Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University to continue his research on Artificial Intelligence. Part of this commissioned project is a new body of work, Machine Vision, which will be unveiled during FOG Design + Art Fair in January, in San Francisco's Dogpatch neighborhood, where Paglen will stage a performance watched and mediated by machines.
