NGWA Certification Renewal Invoices Have Been Sent Those who have an NGWA certification expiring Decem- ber 31, 2016 should have received their notice to renew. Certification renewal has three basic components for con- tractors: continuing education, an affidavit, and a renewal fee. All requirements can be submitted by fax to (614) 898-7786, email to certification@ngwa.org, or mail to NGWA c/o Certification, 601 Dempsey Rd., Westerville, OH 43081. All renewal requirements must be received by NGWA as of the December 31, 2016 deadline to avoid the additional fee for reinstatement. The contractors directory contains a listing of members from the NGWA Contractors Section as well as those who are part of NGWA's Voluntary Certification Program. NGWA Career Center Works to Connect Those in Groundwater Industry Begin your job search by visiting the NGWA Career Cen- ter at http://careers.ngwa.org, where job seekers can post their resume, view jobs, create a personal job alert, and set up a job seeker account and access it. The NGWA Career Center has been enhanced with new features to help connect members with new employment opportunities. Employers and recruiters now have access to your special- ized niche. Among other things, employers and recruiters can view resumes, post jobs, and create an employer account and access it. Make use of the NGWA Career Center to meet all of your needs in today's job market. Certification exams administered by the National Ground Water Association in September, with 7 of those passing. Also administered were 30 licensing exams, with 16 passing. Newly certified professionals in September, with 5 being Certified Well Drillers (CWDs) and 2 Certified Pump Installers (CPIs). The five CWDs are: Paul Feld of Springfield, Missouri George Henner of Phoenix, Arizona Jeremy Martin of Belchertown, Massachusetts Ted McCandless of Jamestown, New York John Schretzmayer of Hauppauge, New York. The two CPIs are: Daniel R. Hawkins of Shafter, California Tony McBee of Chandler, Arizona. New members NGWA registered in September. The total consisted of 78 scientists and engineers, 37 contractors, 17 students, 13 government or academic professionals, 9 manufacturers, 8 associates, 2 suppliers, and 2 manufacturer representatives.
