An old-fashioned Christmas
tree lighting in the heart of
the Historic Third Ward kicks
off Christmas in the Ward
at 5pm Friday, Dec. 2. Fun
includes chestnuts roasting,
live reindeer, carriage rides and
Santa himself, plus a fireworks
display. On Saturday, holiday
decorations, shopping and
dining beckon. Visits with
Santa are during select hours

BMO Harris
Annual Holiday
Display
Through Jan. 2
In a Milwaukee holiday
tradition, BMO Harris Bank
transforms the lobby of its
downtown location into a
themed display of life-sized
Steiff stuffed animals. This
year's theme, An Up North
Holiday, features each
animal in a carefully crafted
flannel, plaid or blaze orange
costume and displayed in an
elaborately designed vignette.
Ice fishing, playing hockey,
figure skating, cross-country
skiing and having a snowball
fight are favorite Wisconsin
activities Also familiar to
Cheeseheads are settings
like a bait shop, custard stand,
souvenir shop, fishing shack,
and a small town old-fash
-
ioned water-tower.
In keeping with the holiday
spirit and tradition, BMO
Harris will again donate $5 to
Feeding America for every
visitor to this year's Holiday
Display.
