Pennsylvania Association Announces Election Results On July 2, 2012 the accounting firm of Hamilton & Musser reported the results of the nine board positions that were up for election for the 2012-2013 PMHA Board of Directors. The association members that were elected to serve on the Board of Directors include: DaleWalker, Jr. withWalker Sales andDis- tribution, Inc. was elected President of the Board of Directors. Walker has served as Vice President, Show Chairman and Supplier Direc- tor and brings to the position 29 years of expe- rience in the factory built housing industry. Also elected to the Board of Directors is Cathy Whitsel with Paramount Home Sales in York, PA was elected Vice President of the Board,MarciaMurray with Astro Village List- ing Service in Milton, PAwas elected Secretary and Dee Eisenhart with Stonybrook Home Sales in Thomasville, PA was elected Treasurer. Re-elected to the Production Increase Continues For Tenth StraightMonth The Manufactured Housing Association for Regulatory Reform (MHARR) reports that according to official statistics compiled on behalf of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Develop- ment (HUD), the manufactured housing industry production re- bound which began during the second half of 2011 has now extended to ten consecutive months. Just-released statistics for May 2012 indicate that HUD Code manufacturers produced 5,211 homes, an increase of 16.7% from the 4,464 HUD Code homes produced during May 2011. Cumulative 2012 industry produc- tion now totals 22,640 homes, up 24.8% from cumulative indus- try production of 18,131 homes during the same period in 2011. A further analysis of the official industry statistics shows that the top ten shipment states for the period of August 2011 to May 2012 -- with cumulative shipment totals as indicated -- are: 1.
