Brackett Estates, located just onemile fromOld Marsh Golf Club, will open its state-of-the-art model home on June 22nd. The homes will feature exceptional en- ergy efficiency, including super-insulated construc- tion, photovoltaic solar panels, solar hot water, triple-glazed windows, low-flow show- erheads and more. Net-zero, or zero-energy, means exactly that – zero cost to the home owner for the consumption or use of electricity because of the home's design. Because they are modular, net-zero homes can be constructed quickly in Keiser's state of the art, climate- controlled facility, and will give owners imme- diate savings in their energy bills.
