Milwaukee www mcw edu The Medical College of Wisconsin is the state's only private medical and health sciences graduate school providing education and training to more than 1,265 medical and graduate students (but no undergraduate students). Medical College faculty members supervise approximately 650 physicians in residency training and 250 physicians in fellowship training through the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals. Approximately 200 scientists are engaged in postdoctoral research fellowship training through the Office of Postdoctoral Education. The Medical College also works with national and international medical specialty societies and community hospitals to accredit approximately 200 continuing medical education activities annually for physicians and other health professionals. The College has more than 15,000 alumni. All applicants must take the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT). The MCAT must be taken within three years prior to matriculation. Applicants are required to have earned a minimum of 90 undergraduate graded credits, including the prerequisites, at an accredited college or university in the United States or Canada. However, applicants are strongly encouraged to have a bachelor's degree. Graduate School: Baccalaureate degree required.
