Product Round-up EDGERS (BED AND CURB/SIDEWALK) Atom professional edger The Atom professional edger from Seago International, Inc. blends award-winning design with outstanding power, ease of use, safety and speed. The wheel-barrow design puts all of the weight of the machine on a single wheel, so the operator is not carrying the load. The shaft drive means 100 percent of the engine power is always on hand. The Atom professional edger combines the power of a much larger 3- or 4-wheeled machine with the mobility and maneuverability of a stick edger. Fully enclosed blade guard and safety trigger interlock add out- standing safety to this fast and reliable Mitsubishi-powered edger. Grasshopper Edge-EZE edger The Grasshopper Edge-EZE edger allows users to save on labor and reduce edging time up to 75 percent over conventional handheld edgers. With a 2.5-inch cutting depth, Edge-EZE maintains established edges at up to 500 feet per minute. Twelve-inch vertical adjustment and a reversible, self-sharpening disc allow convenient edging from the sidewalk, turf or curb. Dependable, heavy-duty construction makes Edge-EZE ideal for daily commercial use, so it quickly pays for itself. Compatible with all DuraMax decks, Edge-EZE mounts on either side of the deck. An optional electric actuator increases downward pressure and raises the disc to cross sidewalks and driveways. Gravely Edger The Gravely Edger allows operators to edge, trim and bevel along walkways, driveways and curbs. With a 169-cc Subaru engine, it possesses the power to perform difficult landscaping projects while minimizing noise and vi- bration. Its recoil starter and standard push drive train system make the machine easy to operate. The deck is built with 12-gauge steel for added strength and durability. It offers a 4-position height adjustment and 110- degree pivot head rotation for cutting, trimming, or beveling so almost any landscape manicuring job can be com- pleted with just one tool. The ergonomic T-handle optimizes operator comfort and adds a level of safety through an operator presence control. The muffler design keeps the sound output 2 decibels lower than its competitors. Little Wonder BedShaper The Little Wonder BedShaper cuts crisp, clean edges — even "S" curves — up to 100 feet per minute, making quick work of the largest edging, bed-shaping and trenching projects. The most intricately shaped beds, smallest- diameter tree rings, and tightest curved edges are made easy with the BedShaper. Its added differential and zero turning radius offer outstanding maneuverability and precision. With a hydrostatic transmission (for infinite- speed control in forward and reverse) and cutting depths ranging from .5 to 4.5 inches, the BedShaper is a fast, powerful and versatile self-propelled bed edger. It cuts costs nearly as fast as it cuts through turf, and can pay for itself on the first job. Turf Teq's model 1305 power edger Turf Teq offers a complete line of self-propelled walking-forward power edgers, including model 1305, which fea- tures a 13-hp. Honda engine and a 5-inch cutting depth. The machine comes standard with an opening blade to create new landscaping beds or redefine existing beds. All three of these functions (bed opening, bed grooming and trenching) can be performed by simply changing the blade and guard for each application. The power edger has a fully hydrostatic transmission with forward and reverse. The model 1305SP has the capability to be con- verted to a power broom, power rake, brushcutter or plow. Ventrac ED200 edger Designed to fit both the Ventrac 3000 and 4000 series tractors, the Ventrac ED200 edger may be used to edge sidewalks, curbs and cart paths, as well as edge and maintain flower and mulch beds. Edging can be done on ei- ther the right or left side per the operator's choice. The multi-position swivel wheel can be adjusted to various heights to follow a variety of terrain. For the maximum in productivity and performance, a bidirectional blower can be added. This allows the operator to edge and blow debris from the area being edged all in one efficient pass. The blower has multiple positions, including right, left or down, which adds to its versatility. The ED200 mounts quickly, utilizing the Ventrac Mount System.
