ment could not have been better timed. "With the reduction of available event space in the Michiana area where many area events were hosted, our opportunity for new business has dramatically increased and will give Stacey a fertile field to cultivate and bring more events to our facility." The Event Center is versatile and can ac- commodate groups as small as 10 or 15 in pri- vate rooms to asmany as 2,100 in theater-style seating or a sit-down banquet for up to 1,000 guests in Ingram Hall. Searer said, "Our elegant surroundings al- ways seem to impress prospects. The Floyd & Mary Irene Younkin Theatre which seats 75 is ideal for training seminars, movies, and pro- jection presentations, and the show grounds east of the complex provides facilities designed for events such as public RV, boat and car shows, to name a few. "The Event Center is an important segment to our mission and our financial stability. We believe the addition of StaceyWalworth and the naming of the south entrance as the Northern Indiana Event Center aremajor steps forward in our goal of making the complex the premier lo- cation for events in northern Indiana and southern Michigan."
