Lucky trucker experiences Kentucky Derby as a winner in Transport America's Big Fat Sweepstakes
Roger Bell is a 20 year trucking veteran who says he likes being out on the road, but admits he likes to work too much. Even seasoned professionals like Bell need an occasional break, and he received a huge one recently as the latest winner in Transport America's Big Fat
Sweepstakes. Bell, who drives for an environmental services company in Decatur, Alabama, won a trip to Louisville for an unforgettable Kentucky Derby experience in early May and was appreciative of Transport America promoting such an innovative program. "I'm glad

they did the contest, especially since it gave me the chance to take a few days off for a vacation," Bell said. Since Transport America provided him with three nights' hotel accommodations, Bell arrived in Louisville on Thursday, and attended the Kentucky Oaks race on Friday and the Kentucky Derby on Saturday. "I couldn't believe I was going to be able to watch The Run for the Roses," Bell said, referring to the lush blanket of 554 red roses awarded to the winning horse each year.
