Water St. (414) 289-8791 4 MILWAUKEE COUNTY ZOO From Dec. 2 through Dec.31, Venture into the Fantastic Forest in the zoo's U.S. Bank Gathering Place to admire the artistry on the brightly-lit trees. The ornaments are decorated by Milwaukee-area youth groups who participated in the Zoological Society of Milwaukee's Trim-a-Tree project. The zookeeper-hosted Giving Tree is decorated with ornaments of suggested enrichment items that visitors can purchase for the animals at the zoo. 10001 W Bluemound Rd. (414) 771-3040 5 5 HOLIDAY LITES TOURS AT THE MILLER BREWERY TOUR CENTER Miller's Holiday Lites display transforms Miller Valley into a festive wonderland with more than 600,000 lights synchronized to holiday music. The display and Holiday Lites Tours run Friday and Saturday nights during the first four weekends in December, beginning Dec. 1st through Dec. 23rd. Shows and tours run every 20 minutes beginning at 4:40 pm through 9 pm. Visitors to the Miller Holiday Lites Show will receive a free mini brewery tour, special giveaways and discounts at the Girl in The Moon Gift Shop, and special post-tour beer samples in the historic stables sampling area if 21 or older. Visitors are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Toys-For- Tots, a non-perishable food item for Hunger Task Force, or obsolete ipad, smartphone or tablet to e-cycle through Goodwill.
