Smith NORTH WOODS ROAD BUILDER I f you happen to be driving on a logging road deep in New Hamp- shire's North Woods there's a good chance it's one built by Jonathan Lane, owner of JML Trucking & Excavating out of Errol, NH. Lane is a 2012 Contractor of the Year fi nalist in our sister publication, Equipment World, and when EW's Senior Editor, Mike Anderson, tracked him down for an interview, the road builder and site-prep expert was refueling a wheel skidder from his 2010 Ford F-150 STX 4x4. "I live out of my pickup and work in remote areas up here, " says the New Hampshire native. "The only upgrades I've done is to install business radios, a refuel tank and cross-bed tool box.
