Here are just a few of the power couples to keep an eye out for this week as you fair hop. Peter & Harry Brant Progeny of Privilege Harry and Peter Brant are wise beyond their years. Their innate sense of savoir faire stems from extraordinary lineage and rearing. Their mother is supermodel Stephanie Seymour and their father is Peter Brant Sr., newspaper mogul, publisher and art collector. Both have been honing their eye at Design Miami/ and Art Basel. Larry Gagosian & Shala Monroque A Work of Art Stunning St. Lucian Shala Monroque knows how to dish out a look. As a true purveyor of style, she has quickly become a global presence at fashion and art events, and last year was named creative director of pal Dasha Zhukova's Garage magazine. Renowned art dealer Larry Gagosian met Monroque while she worked as a hostess at Kittchai in New York. The couple has been together ever since— Gagosian continues to deal art and Monroque continues to be 'It'. Laure Hériard Dubreuil & Aaron Young Amorous Endeavors Acclaimed artist Aaron Young and his fiancée Laure Hériard Dubreuil share a passion for creation. After honing her chops alongside Nicholas Ghesquière at Balenciaga and Stefano Pilati at Yves Saint Laurent, Dubreuil cofounded The Webster, a directional boutique in Miami. Young, whose work ranges from sculpture to photography to drawing to performance art, focuses on the fruitful forces of destruction and is represented by Gagosian Gallery. Reed & Delphine Krakoff Symbiotic Sensibilities Reed and Delphine Krakoff know good design. One is a Parsons graduate whose eponymous label launched in 2010 to wide acclaim and as executive creative director and president of Coach, has turned the brand into a multi-billion dollar company. The other is a French interior designer who opened her own design firm in New York, Pamplemousse. 114 CULTURED Rachel Feinstein & John Currin Artful Alliance Rachel Feinstein and John Currin are the stuff American dreams are made of, chock-full of aristocratic aspirations. Rachel is an artist who specializes in baroque, fantasy-inspired sculptures and acts as style icon and muse amongst the fashion demimonde—Marc Jacobs and Tom Ford often draw upon the gingerhaired beauty for inspiration—but it's her biggest fan, husband and painter John Currin, famous for his satirical figurative works, who admires her beauty most. Leelee Sobieski & Adam Kimmel The Cool Couple Fashion designer Adam Kimmel already has a cult following for his menswear, but what we're keeping an eye on is his furniture designs, which fill the TriBeCa apartment he shares with his wife, actress Leelee Sobieski, and their daughter, Louisanna (Lewi for short), who will be three years old in December. Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld & Giovanna Battaglia A Foreign Affair As the son of famed former French Vogue editrix, Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld is creating a name for himself as an art dealer and the founder of Feedback, Ltd., a private art dealership based in Manhattan. His girlfriend, Italian-born Giovanna Battaglia, is a former Dolce & Gabbana model-turned-editor of L'Uomo Vogue and contributing fashion editor at W magazine.
