Report from the Accounting Department Re: NCSF 2012 2nd Quarter Statutory Statement Highlights and Operational Events For the Six Month Period Ending June 30, 2012. Overall Comments The second quarter's results were released to the regulators on August 9, 2012. You will receive a copy at the board meeting. In the meantime, here are some highlights for the six months ended June 30, 2012. Death and annuity benefits have decreased over the previous comparable period by 8.92% and 61.7% respectively. Surplus increased from $14,966,844 to $15,342,797.
