EXTENDING OUTREACH Lately, the group has extended its outreach with a "Wine Road on the Road" program, taking a winemaker from each AVA to a press dinner in San Diego, a city that now has a direct Horizon Air flight to Sonoma County. "More and more we try to host things out of the area to introduce people to our winemakers and paint a picture for them of what it will be like if they visit," Costa explained.
