DRINK CULTURE PRODUCTS: VODKA Epic Vodka is now available from The Sazerac Company. Made with imported French vodka, Epic uses hand-selected wheat harvested from the Champagne region and is distilled in the Cognac region. The unflavored vodka is 80 proof, and Epic is also available in six 70-proof flavors: peach, whipped cream, kiwi strawberry, cherry, cake and coconut. The company's suggested retail price for Epic is $12.99 for a 750-ml. bottle. Devotion Spirits announced the release of a new premium sugar-free and gluten-free flavored vodka line, which includes Blood Orange, Black and Blue and The Perfect Cosmo. The flavors, which join the company's original vodka, are distilled at the company's headquarters in Middleton, WI and available for a suggested retail price of $19.99 for a 750-ml. bottle. Absolut Hibiskus is the latest flavor in Pernod Ricard's Absolut vodka family. Featuring a blend of hibiscus and pomegranate, Hibiskus is slightly acidic, with a berry flavor underlined by notes of pomegranate, according to the company. The product has no added sugar and is made from natural ingredients. The vodka has a suggested retail price of $21 for a 750-ml. bottle. Hangar One vodka has revealed its new bottle design. The brand is now using an apothecarystyle bottle with embossed measurements and a stopper cap that brings to mind a measuring beaker. The new design was inspired by the brand's artisanal process, including distillation in a WWII aircraft hangar in California. The 80-proof vodka is available for a suggested retail price of $29.99 for a 750-ml. bottle. 8 | MARCH 2013 International Spirits has added Dutch Apple vodka and Cherry vodka to its Ivanabitch product line. The new flavors, which are imported from the Netherlands, are made from the company's fivetimes distilled vodka. The vodka is filtered over active charcoal before natural flavors are added. They join the company's eight existing vodka flavors, which include peach, coconut and vanilla. Platinum 7X Vodka is available from the Sazerac Company. Distilled seven times, the 80-proof vodka is available for a suggested retail price of $12.99 for a 750-ml. bottle. Svedka has introduced two new flavors to its vodka lineup: Orange Cream Pop and Strawberry Colada. Orange Cream Pop is a combination of vodka, icy orange cream and vanilla flavors, while the Strawberry Colada flavor is a blend of vodka, strawberry, coconut and pineapple flavors. Both vodkas sell for a suggested retail price of $12.99 for a 750-ml. bottle. UV Candy Bar vodka is the latest product from Phillips Distilling Company, joining the company's UV cake, chocolate cake, and whipped vodkas.
